Klaipėda City Municipality provides an incentive and encourages highly qualified professionals to move and work in Klaipėda.
Apply for the incentive.
The incentive is intended to finance housing rental and Lithuanian language courses. The maximum amount of the incentive is EUR 2,400 (two thousand four hundred euros) per applicant. Applications shall be submitted and evaluated in accordance with Chapters II and V of the Description. Applicants must meet the criteria listed below.
- If you have an employment contract with a company registered in the territory of Klaipeda municipality. The contract must be valid for at least 12 months.
- If your profession is on the list of priority professions. You can check the list here
- The salary specified in the employment contract should be 1.5 times higher than the average monthly salary of Klaipėda Municipality published by the Lithuanian Department of Statistics (~1,540 EUR after-tax).
- No declaration of residence in Klaipėda city or Klaipėda district municipalities during the last 12 months.
- More detailed information on additional conditions, requirements and disbursement of the incentive can be found in the description
- Applications are accepted until December 1, 2023.
- Acceptance of applications may be suspended before December if the budget intended for the incentive is exhausted.

- Those who meet the criteria are welcome to register for consultation on application processes.
- Submitted applications must be signed by electronic signature.
